Tea Parties on October 1, 15 & 22
It’s Junie B.’s first day of first grade, and things have changed: Junie’s friend, Lucille, doesn’t want to be her BFF anymore. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal,” and first grade has never been more exciting.
TOP SECRET TEA PARTIES!
You are invited to join Junie B. Jones and her friends for a very special tea party following the play on three different Sundays: October 1, 15, & 22. The tea party includes a visit from your favorite characters, a plate of yummy treats and delicious tea or lemonade.
Shhh! This invitation is “top-secret personal beeswax!”

Eight-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon has always loved Christmas. When a classmate asks “Is there a Santa Claus?” Virginia ventures into the city to find out for herself. A scraggly Santa, a kindly librarian, and even Virginia’s quirky father can’t give her a satisfactory answer. So, Virginia writes to Francis Church, the editor of The New York Sun. The answer she receives is one that will become the most famous newspaper editorial of all time.
THANKSGIVING WEEKEND! Join Virginia for a wonderful holiday event for the whole family. Beginning at 7pm on November 24th and 25th, Little Lake will be a buzz with holiday activity; decorate ornaments, write letters to Santa, enjoy a yummy treat, and meet the jolly man himself, followed by an 8pm performance of Yes Virginia, The Musical. A perfect kick-off to the holiday season!
