All Fall 2020 classes will take place over Zoom, so that we can safely and consistently deliver quality theatre instruction. With the success of our zoom summer camp programs, we are confident that the Fall zoom classes will be the perfect place for you to grow, create and explore.

Graceland and Asleep on the Wind
In Graceland, two devoted fans, Bev and Rootie, meet at the front entrance of Graceland, Elvis’ Memphis mansion. In three days time, the gates will open to the public for the first time, and each woman is determined to be the first through those hallowed doors. The brassy, raucous Bev and shy, mousy Rootie vie for the front spot in line in a rivalry that transforms into sincere friendship. Asleep on the Wind takes us to Bayou Teche, Louisiana, ten years earlier. Young Rootie, in attempt to avoid her teasing older brothers, escapes to her secret hiding place, where her kindly Elvis-loving brother Beau finds her. While encouraging Rootie to come back home, Beau breaks the news that he has enlisted in the army and is leaving that night- news that forces Rootie to accept the fact that her life, for better or worse, will never be the same. This one-act double header is packed with plenty of humor and heart… and the perfect dash of Elvis.
