Katie Flanigan, the Director of Production, is no stranger to the Lake. Since attending Little Lake's theatre summer camp in 2005, she was forever hooked by the world of community theatre. After becoming an apprentice in 2007, she now returns nearly two decades later in a senior leadership role. From performing in the children's' shows, serving on run crews, stage managing for the first time, running box office, to leading the apprentice program, Katie learned the Lake and live theatre from all aspects.
Katie joins Little Lake from Carnegie Mellon University, where she served as Associate Director and Career Consultant within the Career & Professional Development Center, working closely with students in the internationally recognized School of Drama. She relished in connecting students with professional opportunities, while coordinating large-scale programming and events.
Outside of higher education, her theatrical experience spans two decades of production and stage management, performing, and organizational leadership. Katie most recently served on the Board of Directors at Old Schoolhouse Players as the Public Relations chair, concurrently managing production logistics, box office operations, and marketing.
At Little Lake, Katie oversees production operations, technical planning, and design coordination, supporting an expanding slate of productions, educational programming, and special events.
