Audition at The Lake!
⚽ AUDITIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE WOLVES. 🐺
Sarah DeLappe's Pulitzer Prize finalist play is a funny, fierce, and deeply human portrait of nine teenage girls navigating friendship, competition, identity, and growing up.
As we shared earlier this week, this is not a children's play. It is mature, challenging material that we'll approach with care, transparency, and enormous respect for the young artists entrusted with telling this story.
To ensure every family can make an informed decision:
• We will be casting age-appropriate performers (ages 14+).
• Every parent or guardian of a minor performer will be required to read the entire script before participation is approved.
• The rehearsal process will be led by experienced theatre-makers and educators in a thoughtful, supportive environment.
Auditions
📅 Saturday, August 8 & Monday, August 10 (5:00–9:00 PM by appointment)
📅 Callbacks: Monday, August 17 at 6:00 PM
🎭 Performances: November 5–22
Auditions will consist of readings from the script—no prepared monologue is required. Video submissions are also welcome.
